A Successful Plastic Injection Mold for a auto part of Audi

This is a single cavity automotive plastic injection mold WIT MOLD built for auto part - Internal trim for Audi project, material is PC, and part weight is 143g, the mould size is 700X600X690mm,and the mold weight is 1930kgs. The build time is 5 weeks.

Mold Structure: apply 3 sets of slider, additional horn gate on slider. Highlights:Early Moldflow shows that the injection pressure of one gate scheme can be as high as 140MPa, by adding a additional gate on the other side of the part, successfully reduce the pressure to 100MPa and also keeps the surface quality at filling end.
