This is a single cavity plastic injection mold WIT MOLD built for our American customer MPC.part material is PP, and part weight is 320g, the mould size is 850X600X500mm,and the mould weight is 1500kg. The build time is 40 days. After the second mold trial, the customer approved the mold for shipping.
Mechanical actions includes two mechanical sliders in the core and one spring block in the cavity.It is sprue gate. In order to keep the cooing balance, we also bring cooling channel into all mechanical actions.
Before the mold manufacturing, our mould designer analyzed the part filling, packing pressure, and deformation etc by using Moldflow analysis during the mould design. By studying the results of the moldflow analysis, we optimized the mould part and mould design. In this way, the cycle time was reduced from 50s to 38s, improved by 24%.
